Huntington Bank Lights up The Grant Building

Dave Hammer, president, Huntington Bank’s Pittsburgh region, and Jim Leyland, Detroit Tigers manager, finally hit the switch to light up the Huntington signage atop the Grant Building.

Huntington’s name finally joins other corporations, including UPMC, Highmark and BNY Mellon with an illuminated sign towering Pittsburgh’s skyline. In consideration of the historical landmark, and iconic beacon that spells out “Pittsburgh” in morse code on top of the 80-year-old building the sign does not over power the buildings art deco design.

Bank spokesman William Eiler said the sign will brand Huntington’s new regional headquarters.
